(This is a conversation between two very Southern people. Accents should be included if possible.)
Margaret:
Oh my, Stanley, I have no idea what to choose. Black Mango over here, oh! And that Blueberry Lemonade stuff, I kinda liked that…
(She tries the Blueberry Lemonade.)
Stanley:
How is it?
Margaret:
Mmm! Way too blueberry for me. Hmm, what about this here Cherry Limeade?
Stanley:
But you don’t like cherry flavoring, baby!
Margaret:
Oh, I don’t know, maybe I do.
(She tries the Cherry Limeade.)
Oh, yeah, no. I don’t like the cherry. Tastes like medicine.
Stanley:
What about these teas over here, Margaret?
Margaret:
Oh, I don’t know. Some of them are so sugar-less it’s like I’m just drinking straight tea. Who does that?
Stanley:
Sweetheart, are you gonna choose a drink here or not?
Margaret:
Yes I will, Stanley. I’m gettin’ sweet tea, okay? (Fills up her cup with sweet tea.)
Stanley:
Okay, so how much is this? (Looking at the sign.) Sixty-nine cents.
(He takes some change out of his pocket.)
Margaret:
Why is the styrofoam more expensive than the plastic cups? That doesn’t make any sense.
Stanley:
No, it doesn’t. (He pays at the counter.) Thank you, sir. So where to, next, Margaret?
Margaret:
Oh, I don’t know, Stanley, where do you want to go?
Stanley:
Where do you want to go?
Margaret:
Stanley! I want to do what you want to do. There’s no use in trying to pick my brain about this because I only want to do what you want to do. So pick something. And it will be fine!
Stanley:
Okay…how about –
Margaret:
Oh, Stanley, remember that time we went down to that one shop? The real pretty one with the white motorcycle in the front window? Do you think we could go there again? Sometime. It doesn’t have to be today at all.
Stanley:
We can go there right now. That’s fine.
Margaret:
Now, Stanley, I keep telling you, I want to do what you want to do. Honestly!
Stanley:
Well, then, how about we get in the car and decide as we drive?
Margaret:
Okay, as long as it’s whatever you want to do. I love you, Stanley! I’m gonna marry you!
Stanley:
I know it.
